I believe that, for most people, the answer to their mental health challenges and emotional suffering lies within. My approach is to hold my client in high esteem, and listen in the hope of being able to reflect and guide them toward inner healing. Each person is unique and presents a challenge for me...a challenge to search for the right therapeutic path where we can travel together.
My philosophy is that healing can emerge in the sanctuary of the therapy session. Deep empathic listening by your therapist can allow for new ways of seeing, providing new tools for navigating life's challenges.
I am constantly searching for new approaches and techniques that might help my clients. Since my initial training in the mid-1990's so much has evolved in regard to brain science and how the body processes trauma. Holistic approaches to exploring the mind-body-spirit connection have been gaining in acceptance , and many effective treatment protocols are a mix of mainstream and alternative modalities.
My clients occupy the full range...from folks who seek classical talk therapy to individuals who are interested in energy work and exploration of their subconscious mind. It is my honour and privilege to witness and support my clients' journeys.
